Priority Status

Priority Status as of 2/25/21

What is Priority Status?

When your young player participates in U.S. Kids Golf events, they have the opportunity to earn Priority Status – a qualification that determines when players receive invitations for multi-day events.

How Do I Earn Priority Status?
  • There are 13 levels of Priority Status, with Lifetime Status being the highest
  • The twelve additional levels are numerically ranked: Level 12 (Higher) to Level 1 (Lowest)
  • Players may gain Priority Status by score OR by order of finish
  • If multiple levels of Priority Status are obtained in one event, the higher Status takes effect
  • Priority Status expires after one year
  • Players can have multiple levels of Priority Status, each level with its own expiration date
  • After the conclusion of a Local Tour season or multi-day event, Priority Status will be awarded to players within 1-2 weeks

*The scoring requirement of 9-hole players is half of the scores listed above

**Rounds shortened for any reason (weather, darkness, etc.) will not count towards the Priority Status scoring requirement. However, players can still earn Status via their order of finish.
