State Invitationals
The 2021 State Invitational Schedule is not yet available. The State Invitational schedule, as well as registration information, will be available soon.

State Invitational COVID-19 Procedures
Designed to bridge the gap between Local Tours and Regional Championships, State Invitationals are two-day events for boys and girls, ages 5 to 14.
For players in Boys 9, Boys 10, and Girls 10-11, this series offers 18-hole rounds and twice as much golf compared to Local Tour events. Tournament rounds for all other age divisions will be the same as Local Tour competition. Visit the Age Groups and Yardages page for more details.
Players competing in State Invitationals can also begin building a national ranking, as Junior Golf Scoreboard awards points to players competing in qualifying fields. In most cases, boys 11 and older and girls 12 and older are recognized by Junior Golf Scoreboard, provided the yardage played is greater than 4500 yards and not shorter than the forward most USGA rated tees. Priority Status will also be on the line, as top finishers in each age division can earn status and invitations to other U.S. Kids Golf multi-day events (Regional Championships, European Championship, World Championship and World Teen Championship).
In addition to Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings, AJGA Performance Stars are also awarded to the champions in Boys 12, Boys 13-14, and Girls 12-14.
Registration will first open to in-state residents with Priority Status and then open to Priority Status players outside of the host state, based on availability. Any non-status players wishing to compete in a State Invitational must fill out the event specific open application form. These forms can be found on each event's Registration Information page. A player's age on the tournament's cut-off date will determine his/her age division for the event.
