Selection Criteria

Award winners are selected based on the following:

• Completion of the U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach program. Login to view your status.
• Effective use of the U.S. Kids Golf Player Pathway and success in advancing young players through the Pathway.
• Practice of developmental fitting to match equipment to player height, skill, and swing speed.
• Experience and time spent coaching players ages 12 & under.
• Fun, creativity, and engagement within the program.
• Communication and involvement with parents.
• Business activity and use of program products within your coaching program or facility.
• Authenticity and clearly written responses on the application.

Master Kids Coach Selection Criteria

• Top 50 Kids Coach criteria applies.
• Applicants are eligible for consideration after being selected as a Top 50 Kids Coach three times.
• Applicants must rank in the top percentage of the current year’s class to be selected as a Master Kids Coach.

Application Details

• Only one applicant per facility may apply for this award in any given year. Please coordinate with staff members at your facility to ensure only one application is submitted.
• Candidates are subject to a background check.
• Parent/player nominations and supplemental materials (handbooks, photos, etc.) are welcome but are not considered in the application process.
